The Mount Royal University Cougars ended their 2010-11 season with their annual 'Cougar Night' athletics awards banquet on Thursday, March 24th.

The night seeks to honour the accomplishments of the 10-11 season, including awarding the prestigious Cougar Male and Female Rookie of the Year Awards, as well as the Cougar Male and Female Athlete of the Year Awards.

This year the lucky recipients of the awards are as follows: (hover over each winner to read bio)

Cougar Female Rookie of the Year Maddie Pedersen (Women's Golf)

Cougar Female Athlete of the Year Andrea Price (Women's Volleyball)

Cougar Male Rookie of the Year Matt Chan (Men's Badminton)

Co-Cougar Male Athletes of the Year Cam Dodd (Men's Basketball)
Justin Cote (Men's Hockey)
